Computational Modelling
The use of computational modelling techniques allows the advanced and detailed analysis of the energy transfer of specific façade types. These techniques can be used to inform the iterative design process of more complex façade solutions such as twin wall and active façade constructions to maximise building efficiency.
These techniques can also be employed to determine the attributes associated with certain 3-dimensional envelope details and penetrations. Issues such as condensation and U value depletion can be quickly established to assist the development process.
