TESTING - Introduction
We have recently added
a significant number of tests to our scope of UKAS accreditation.
They are all concerned with curtain walls and windows, both
at our laboratory and on site. A list of these can be found
here.
Wintech Engineering Limited was formed as an independent company within the Wintech Group to develop and operate a new dedicated Façade testing centre.
It now provides one of the most up-to-date facilities for static and dynamic testing in Europe, capable of undertaking a full range of building envelope performance tests either on site or at the centre itself.
Sample sizes up to 3 storeys high can be accommodated on either bespoke or permanent rigs. Small samples can be tested under full internal laboratory conditions.
Wintech Engineering Ltd in partnership with the Glass and Glazing Federation became the worlds first UKAS accredited glass impact test laboratory to prEN12600.
If required, expert design and technical advice is available at short notice from consultants within the Group from their nearby offices.
